How do XP and levels work?
Earn XP by completing marked papers. Level 100 is the maximum.

1. Earn XP
A marked paper earns 1 XP per mark scored. An active Double XP booster doubles that award. Opening papers or buying coins does not award XP, and coins do not directly buy levels. Your level uses total recorded XP across your subjects.
2. Reach the next level
Everyone starts at level 1. Early levels take fewer XP; the required total rises as you progress. Your Profile and Progress page show your level and the XP remaining until the next one. Level 100 requires 100,000 XP. You keep earning XP after level 100, but the level stays capped.
3. Levels and grades
A level measures activity, not your exam grade. Track actual paper marks and grade estimates in Progress. If you delete a result, its XP no longer contributes to the recorded total, so your displayed level can decrease.
